Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 11, 2026

This policy explains what information LyfeStyle (lyfestyle.world) collects when you visit, how it’s used, and the choices you have. LyfeStyle is a small, independent health and habits blog. We don’t run ads, sell products, or sell your data to anyone — the short version of this policy is that we collect the minimum needed to run the site and understand what content is useful to readers.

Who we are

LyfeStyle is published at https://lyfestyle.world. This policy covers everything on the site, including blog posts, pages, and comments.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — things like which posts get read, how people found the page, and general location (city/country level, not precise). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and used to improve the site; we don’t use it to identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can read more in Google’s Privacy Policy.

We also use Google Search Console, which shows us aggregated data about how the site appears in Google Search results (search terms, click-through rates). Search Console does not collect data about individual visitors to this site.

Comments

When you leave a comment, we collect the information in the comment form (your name, email address, and website, if provided), along with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection. Your email address is never published or shared — it’s only used for comment moderation and, if you opt in, to notify you of replies.

An anonymized, hashed version of your email address may be checked against the Gravatar service to display a profile picture, if you have one associated with that address. You can review Gravatar’s privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once a comment is approved, your name and (if provided) profile picture are visible publicly alongside your comment.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in a cookie so you don’t have to re-enter them next time. These cookies last one year.

Google Analytics also sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions, as described above. We don’t use cookies for advertising or ad retargeting, since we don’t run ads on this site.

Embedded content from other websites

Posts on this site may include embedded content (for example, a video or an image sourced from another site). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website directly — it may collect data about you, use its own cookies, and track your interaction with that content, especially if you’re logged into an account on that other service.

Who we share your data with

We don’t sell, rent, or trade visitor data. The only third parties involved in running this site are our hosting provider (to serve the website), Google Analytics and Google Search Console (as described above), and, for comments, an automated spam-detection service. If you request a password reset for an account on this site, your IP address is included in the reset email for security purposes.

How long we keep your data

Comments and their associated metadata are retained indefinitely so that follow-up comments from the same visitor can be recognized automatically rather than held for manual review. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s standard retention settings.

Your rights over your data

If you’ve left a comment on this site, you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, use the contact option listed on the site. We’ll respond as quickly as we reasonably can. This doesn’t apply to data we’re required to retain for legal, security, or administrative purposes.

Children’s privacy

LyfeStyle is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted here.
